Nephrology Clinical Educator | Fresenius Medical Care North America | Dallas, TX
The Nephrology Clinical Educator will be the key educator, providing
technical training, blood inservicing, efficient service and support to
our external clients. Responsible for maintaining customer accounts
through on-site and telephone contact, dissemination and communication
of information to the proper personnel, and ensuring follow through to
achieve customer satisfaction. Visit all existing accounts in assigned
region as mandated, to ensure client satisfaction, maintain rapport,
compliance to procedures and ensure clients well trained on lab computer
software. Provide clinical expertise to the dialysis professional.
Participate in the development of clinical education for clients and
internal employees.
Prompt and satisfactory response to client inquires, customer service
skills and ability to follow through, adaptability, dependability,
accountability, cooperation and teamwork, job knowledge, problem solving
skills, initiative and creativity to suggest ideas and follow through.
Defined territory is: TX, CO, ID, UT,WY, MT, ND, SD, NE, IA and MN
- Scheduled visits are mandatory and not limited to your defined
territory
- Each account must be visited quarterly
- Facility Visit Forms must be completed in electronic form only
and submitted to Manager no later than 2 weeks from visit (no hand
written forms)
- Demonstrate with confidence and full understanding all external
Spectra Applications and tools
- Train new and existing clients on all External Spectra applications
- Ability to train face to face and in virtual setting classes
- Attend territory trade shows representing Spectra
- Demonstrate teamwork and team support
- Report back to manager, any new industry changes as they become known to
you
- Report back to manager, your clients perceived quality of Spectra
- services (as interpreted by the client)
- Provide phone support as needed to address clients needs
- Participate in developing and maintaining training material.
- Contribute to External Newsletter
- Responsible for working within an allocated budget and provide cost
reduction and/or best value options.
- Deploy new application and/or new versions of client applications in,
but not limited to, your assigned territory within the guildelines set
for deployment.
- Must maintain a valid Driver's License; with proof of insurance for your
own vehicle
- Must maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Must be able to reconcile company credit card on a monthly basis
- Promote all Laboratory services provided by Spectra
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, education or computer
science
- 3-5 years Experience in dialysis.
- Registered Nurse or Registered Dietician
- Experience in an Educator role.
- Certification in Nephrology.
- Must be able to travel overnight at a minimum of 3 nights per week.
- Able to drive up to 4 hours to client sites.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs and sit/stand foe extended periods of time.
