This position is responsible for supervising and closely monitoring the
activities of a specified group of Field Specialists within a particular
geographical area servicing existing & new accounts for CCS.
Regional Managers actively manage Field Specialists for an assigned
region in a geographical area of the country. They are expected to
manage, coach, and guide their team to achieve all of the goals set
forth by CCS and its client.
This position will be based in either Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL
Responsibilities
- Serves as the main point of contact for all Field Specialists with
respect to questions, performance, concerns, training, etc.
- Ensures that all Field Specialists are trained on the merchandising
process, in-store communication expectations, product knowledge, and
internal CCS procedures; includes ensuring that new hire orientations
and online training modules are completed.
- Ensure visits are staffed, scheduled and executed; includes
verifying specialists are doing the work they report by executing phone
audits, conducting ride-alongs and in-field coaching to meet metric
requirements.
- Ensure reporting is completed on time and according to assignment;
this includes monitoring the reporting process for the territory, and
making sure that Field Specialist's enter reports timely.
- Responsible for staffing process; includes identifying need,
interviewing, hiring Field Specialists in an assigned territory, and
working effectively with Internal Management Team to ensure stores are
fully staffed.
- Comply with and adhere to company policies concerning disciplinary,
termination, performance and conduct issues in communications with Field
Specialists.
- Direct all activities of Field Specialists including timely
communication on program information and objectives.
- Communicates effectively to National Field Manager including
summary reports for territory, identification and timely communication
of potential client issues, tracking metrics for performance management,
conference calls, and establishing individual and program goals.
- Maintain focus and accountability for expense control, includes
ensuring that all expenses are within program guidelines.
Requirements
- Education & experience: a Bachelor's Degree in Business,
Marketing or related field, and two to three years management experience
in a retail/merchandising/marketing environment OR three to Five years
of similar experience
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, project
management experience, and prioritization of tasks.
- Superior interpersonal skills to work closely with other team
members and the client.
- Professional attitude and strong leadership skills.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent judgment, effective problem-resolution skills, and the
ability to balance multiple (and often conflicting) demands.
- Thorough understanding of retail distribution, merchandising,
sales, and marketing
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to travel up to 75%
